An adapter plate that allows for the mounting of a Holosun 509T Optic to the RMR footprint on most standard ZEV Technologies Glock slides. It has been specifically designed to work with cuts using rear index posts and 4-40 screws, unlike most other plates on the market. Slides compatible with this system include Zev Glock and P320 Slides, Brownells Glock Slides, and slides cut by Battlewerx with rear index posts and 4-40 screws.

Featuring Holosun’s 45 degree dovetail mounting system and recoil lug, combined with Zev’s 4-40 threaded post RMR cut, this plate is intended for heavy use by professionals and competitive shooters alike. The underside of the plate has been heavily relieved to reduce weight, and allows it to weigh in at less than half the weight of comparable size steel plates while still being strong enough to keep up with the most demanding environments.

Due to the small geometry of Holosun’s dovetail, these plates are cut from billet 7075 aluminum for extra strength.

Compatibility has been verified on the following models:

• All standard ZEV Tech Slides, including Citadel, Hellbender, Duty, and Cryo slides, Gen3-5.
• Zev OZ-9 Pistols
• Zev P320 Slides
• Brownells Glock Slides
• Battlewerx RMR Cuts featuring rear posts and 4-40 screws
• Includes 2x IP8 drive 4-40 screws to fit Zev Tech and Brownells Slides.

The adapter plate comes with screws utilizing a Torx-Plus IP8 driver bit, allowing for a smaller overall head diameter. This driver bit can be purchased from most online retailers offering Torx driver bits, or can be included with the plate for a small additional cost. A Torque limiting screw driver is strongly advised for installation of this plate to prevent torque exceeding the recommended limit provided by your slide manufacturer.

Notes:

The price difference from the Acro adapter plates is due to 7075 aluminum being roughly 2x more expensive than 6061, and is required for extra strength in the small areas of the dovetail.

Due to variances in Holosun’s production of the 509 optic, there may be some deformation of the adapter plate dovetail when tightening the optic past the recommended spec. This should not affect the performance, and could actually increase long term reliability due to minorly bedding in the optic and preventing any possible movement. All installation should be performed by a qualified gunsmith, and Dauntless Engineering is not responsible for damages due to incorrect installation or overtightening
