Our AK-100 Series Combo Blocks are machined in house from billet 4140 alloy steel and then professionally heat treated. They are designed from original Bulgarian AK Combo Block Specifications to fit the majority of available AK platforms, including the following variants:

• AK 102
• AK 104
• AK 105

The Barrel Bore size is machined to .5925 to accommodate the majority of current and old production barrels. If your barrel is over or undersized, please contact us to request a custom sized block. Pressing a block onto a barrel that is too large will cause damage to both the block and the barrel and will void any return or replacement options that may be possible.

The Gas Piston Bore is the original print spec of .5525.

This product is intended for use on Bulgarian spec AK-102/104/105 series or similar rifles with a 90 degree gas port and barrel shoulder, and features a 24mm thread.

The barrel pin has not been drilled to allow for different pin sizes if required, however a center drill starter has been provided for easy drilling. As our AK Combo Block is hardened steel, we recommend using either a Carbide end mill or a new coated HSS drill bit of your desired size to drill the pin hole.

Due to the wide variety of AK platforms and components produced around the world, it would be impossible to create a one-size-fits-all part. Variances of +/-.010 are not uncommon even among AKs produced by the same manufacturer, so we ask that you verify the dimensions of the barrel and gas piston you intend to use with our gas blocks before purchasing. If you have a barrel or piston that will not fit the default size, please contact us prior to ordering about a custom size. All parts should be installed by a qualified gunsmith with experience in assembling, fitting, and testing AK-47 or AK-74 platform rifles and pistols. Parts may require fitting to be fully functional with some AK models.
